Winter salt and summer bugs
Road salt and de-icer dry into a white crust on lower doors, wheels and rocker panels, and they keep working on the metal underneath as long as they sit there.
In summer, bugs and road film build up on the grille, mirrors and windshield. An automatic wash skims the top layer; our foam bath and hand wash break it down and lift it off without dragging grit across the paint.

- How is this different from an automatic car wash?
- We hand-wash after a foam pre-soak, clean the wheels and tires separately, and do the glass by hand, so nothing gets scrubbed into the paint by dirty brushes.
- Do you remove road salt?
- Yes. Salt removal is part of every exterior detail.
- What does the wax add?
- A layer of protection and shine that makes the next wash easier and helps water bead off. It's $50–$75 depending on the vehicle.
- Can you do my exterior at work?
- Yes. We regularly detail cars in office parking lots, with permission to work in the lot.
